Ms. Perez received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2019. Ms. Perez received Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Ethnic Studies from the University of California, San Diego in 2012. Ms. Perez is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in California.

Experience

 

Ms. Perez represents employees in wage and hour claims, including unpaid wages, overtime wage and regular rate violations, meal period violations, rest break violations, and unreimbursed business expenses. Prior to joining Haines Law Group, Ms. Perez represented indigent and vulnerable clients in immigration court. Ms. Perez has also represented injured clients in personal injury matters.

 

During law school, Ms. Perez externed at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she worked on matters concerning race and gender discrimination. Ms. Perez also participated in the Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition, Loyola’s International Human Rights Clinic, and externed for a federal bankruptcy judge.

In her free time, Ms. Perez enjoys chasing after her toddler, exploring California’s wineries, and hiking with her dogs, a rambunctious pitbull and a shy chihuahua.
