Jaime "Jimmy" Castaneda
Jaime “Jimmy” Castaneda received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2014. He then received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2021. Mr. Castaneda was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2022.
Mr. Castaneda primarily represents plaintiffs in employee class actions and representative PAGA actions. He also represents individual plaintiffs in employment discrimination and wrongful termination cases. Prior to joining Haines Law Group, Mr. Castaneda was a law clerk at a plaintiffs’ employment litigation boutique firm in Los Angeles, California.
During law school, Mr. Castaneda externed for a federal bankruptcy judge and participated in several moot court competitions. Prior to law school, Mr. Castaneda worked as a Department of Justice Accredited Representative, providing free or low-cost immigration services throughout Los Angeles County.
In his free time, Mr. Castaneda enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
